There is an issue with VMware vCenter 5.5 that causes it to keep crashing. To stop vCenter 5.5 from crashing, increase the thread stack size to 1MB. To do this:
- Navigate to C:\ProgramData\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter\
- open vpxd.cfg for editing
- Change <ThreadStackSizeKb>512</ThreadStackSizeKb> to <ThreadStackSizeKb>1024</ThreadStackSizeKb>
- Save and close the file
vCenter should then stop crashing after reboots.
