How To Remove Historical Data From Fortinet Analysis And Management

Fortigate devices connect to Fortinet Analysis and Management (FAMs) so store it’s logs for the purpose of reporting and analysis. By default you get 1GB free, but if you use all your storage quota in your FAMs online account, you have two options:

  • Buy more space from Fortinet
  • Delete old data

To delete your FAMs history, do the following:

  1. Log onto FAMs
  2. Go to the Dashboard
  3. From the Device widget, click the edit button to the right of the Fortinet device ID of the Fortigate device who’s history you want to delete
  4. Click Delete Data and chose a date / time before which data should be deleted
