How To Log Off Windows Server 2012 | Windows 8

The latest version of Windows heralds a plethora of new features including a new design. Part of this new design includes a new Start menu and a new way to log off, switch users and shut down Windows.

It’s not immediately obvious how to log off Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8, but once you find out how to log off you will kick yourself. To log off Windows Server 2012 or Windows 8, hit the start button (or move the mouse to the bottom left hand corner of the screen and left click) and click on your user account name in the top right hand corner of the screen. From the drop down menu, you will be able to log off, switch users and lock the computer.

    • No problem. Kinda makes you feel like you’re absolutely starting from scratch when you don’t even know how to log off the computer lol.

I’ve got a bunch of other Server 2012 articles you might want to have a browse through to help you get up to speed with the changes.
