When starting Skype from your Android phone, you may get the following error:
Cannot connect to Skype
You cannot be signed in at this time. Please check your mobile network settings and try again.
Assuming there are no problems with the network settings, it might be that the Data Switch widget is turned off. Try turning the Data Switch widget on and try connecting to Skype again.
Other causes may be that you have run out of your mobile data plan (Try signing in to Skype via the Android’s wireless connection to see if there isn’t a problem with the Skype service). Also, try connecting to the internet from Androids internet browser to see if the phone is able to send and receive data.
