Android has a cool feature that allows you to convert voice to text when sending SMS messages, so you can basically dictate your SMS texts. This is called Android Voice-to-text  and is much faster than typing. When using Voice-to-text, there are a number of commands that you can use to help punctuate your text. Here is a list of Voice-to-text commands:

“Comma”

“Period”

“Exclamation mark”

“Question mark”

If you want Android Voice-to-text to type any of these commands as words instead of punctuation marks; in the case of two word punctuation commands wait for the first word to appear as a word before saying the next; In the case of single word punctuation commands, click on the punctuation mark and a menu of alternative words will appear, click on the word version of the command.
